Mark Goodman

Mark Goodman
Despite taking a drastically different approach to career development (BA in Psychology, University of British Columbia), Mark quickly realized that his genealogy lends him a unique gift for the subtleties and nuances of commercial real estate transactions. After obtaining his real estate license in 2002, he joined his father as the younger stalwart of the Goodman Report team.

Over the years, he has positioned himself as the manager of day to day operations and has introduced online marketing and statistical analysis to the rapidly expanding quiver of Goodman tools and methodology.  Mark is is also co-publisher of The Goodman Report, a longstanding industry publication providing in-depth news and perspective on the Greater Vancouver rental apartment scene.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Mark’s unique perspective and well-rounded background has given him a fresh take on the workings of the commercial real estate market with a keen desire to utilize new marketing channels and technologies to bring a sharper edge to the Goodman legacy.  The success of this approach is evident, having been involved in the sale of over 170 apartment buildings and development sites totalling over $650 million in sales volume.

Some of Mark’s clients include CAP REIT, TransGlobe Property Management, Gold Holdings, Mayfair Properties, Wall Financial, Hollyburn Properties, Polygon, Prospero Group and Bosa Ventures.

When not exercising his passion for real estate, Mark spends time with his wife and two young children.
